Loretta Lynn (Groves) Foster, 55, of Diana passed away Saturday, March 21, 2020 at CAMC Memorial Division, Charleston.
Born January 24, 1965, in Webster Springs, she was the daughter of Agnes Riffle Carpenter and the late Jerold Groves.
Loretta had a kind heart, she was always giving of herself to other people, and her door was always open. She enjoyed going 4-wheeling, taking care of flowers/plants and her animals, Pandy, Alley, and Baby, and sitting on her back porch watching the river. Most of all, she loved her grandson, Levi, dearly.
In addition to her father, she was preceded in death by her first husband, Kim Gum; and second husband, Harold Foster.
In addition to her mother, Agnes, she is survived by her son, Kenny Gum; sisters, Beverly Barbe and Libby Beckett; grandson, Levi Gum; special friend who was like a sister, Donna Garvin; mother-in-law, Carol Gum; and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends to mourn her passing.
Due to the restrictions on the funeral home during the COVID-19 outbreak, there will be a graveside service only 2:00 pm, Friday, March 27, 2020 at Cool Springs Cemetery, Diana.
