Glen "Buck" Fisher

November 6, 1951 — April 19, 2020

Glen Edwin “Buck” Fisher, 68, of Hacker Valley went home to be with the Lord on Sunday, April 19, 2020 at his home.

Born November 6, 1951, he was the son of the late Lester and Fanny (Moats) Fisher.  In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his sisters, Joan and her husband, Oscar Simmons, and Dessie Anderson; nephews, Tom Anderson, David Hamrick, and Stanley Simmons; and brother-in-law, Clarence Brown.

Buck had retired from the West Virginia Department of Highways after 33 years of work, running the road grader.

Left to cherish his memory are his loving wife, Donna (Massie) Fisher; son, Steven (wife, Brandi) Fisher; granddaughters, Kailey and Lillian Fisher; brother, Lonnie “Sonny” (wife, Marilyn) Fisher; sisters, Waunita Brown of Weston, Mable (husband, Wilson) Hamrick of Wallace, and Hazel Fisher of Hacker Valley; brother-in-law, David Anderson of Hacker Valley; his favorite niece and her husband, who always was there to help, Peggy (husband, Ron) Quinn; also, helpful friend, Mark Carpenter of Hacker Valley; and a host of other relatives and friends to mourn his passing.

Due to the restrictions on the funeral home during the COVID-19 outbreak, there will be a graveside service with burial to follow at 2:00 PM, Friday, April 24, 2020 at Ware Cemetery, Hacker Valley with Pastor Larry Cochran officiating.  Friends may join the family at the cemetery from 1-2PM.
