Gatha Angeline Clutter, 87 of Diana passed away on Sunday, April 19, 2020 at Jackson Ridge Rehab Center in Canal Fulton, Ohio. She was born April 22, 1932 in Webster Springs to the late William Holt and Lily Ann Payne Green.
Gatha was Pastor of Emmanuel Apostolic Church in Bolair; was a member of the Rebekah Lodge of Cowen; and enjoyed fishing, gardening, cooking, baking, sewing, and playing music. She retired as the Head Cook for Diana Elementary School.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her first husband Woodrow Cogar; second husband Bobbie Clutter; and siblings Liza Jane Green, Merlyn Green, and Ancil Green.
Left to cherish her memory are her children Letha (Larry) Cunningham of Akron, OH, Nora (Ed) Bender of Webster Springs, William E. (Lisa) Clutter of Diana, and Larry (Lesa) Cogar of Rittman, OH; brother Sampson Green of Grassy Creek; grandchildren Tony, Thomas, Lynn, Kelly, DeAnna, Megann, and Krista; many great-grandchildren; sisters-in-law Sue Green and Ruth Green; and many other extended family and friends to mourn her passing.
Due to the restrictions on the funeral home during the COVID-19 outbreak, there will be a graveside service at 12:00 PM on Thursday, April 23, 2020 at Cogar Cemetery in Guardian with Pastor Eddie Green officiating.
