Cheri Lynn Clevenger Wolford, 51 years young, left his world peacefully in the arms of her daughter, and the hands of her family, and into the arms of Jesus on Saturday morning, May 18, 2019. In addition to her parents she is survived by her husband of 33 years Vernon Wolford; daughter Kayla and husband Kevin Schrader and granddaughter Reagan Elizabeth Schrader of Morgantown; son Kendall and wife Katlynn Wolford and grandson Henley Jackson Wolford of Buckhannon; brothers Aaron and wife Judy and their sons Seth and Nathan  Clevenger all of Buckhannon, Edward and wife Michelle and children Bryson, Bethany and Isaiah Clevenger  and Ashley and Jonny Hinchman all of Buckhannon; and Darrin and wife Denise and their children Riley and Harley Clevenger all of Guardian; sister Kellea Clevenger and son Jeremie Garrison, both of Hinckley, OH; aunt Genelda and husband Connell Gregory of South Lyon, MI; sister-in-law Linda Wolford and her son Matthew Kuhar of Webster Springs; brother-in-law Joe Wolford of Braxton County; and several other extended family and friends. She was preceded in death by her paternal grandparents Floyd and Nola Clevenger; maternal grandparents Ernest and Ada Pugh; infant brother Jackie Clevenger; mother-in-law Betty Wolford; father-in-law Samuel Vernon Wolford; sister-in-law Alice Wolford; and several aunts and uncles.

She lived her entire life on Grassy Creek. She was a loving mother and homemaker, and later enjoyed being a teacher’s assistant at Hacker Valley and Webster Springs schools. She held her students and fellow teachers and co-workers dear to her heart. She enjoyed summer campfires, keeping in touch with cousins and friends, she was ”The Avon Lady”, faithfully involved at Union Valley Union Mission Church for 25 years, and overjoyed to finally be called “Grammy”. In her final moments in this world, her last words were to her children, “I love you. Take care of my grandbabies.” Her personality, her smile, her love, and her life will be deeply and immensely missed by all.
