Willa Louise Davis, 63, of Webster Springs, WV, passed from this life to be united with her Lord and family who has passed on before her on Monday, November 24, 2025 surrounded by her family in Webster Springs, WV.
Willa was the daughter of the late Thornton and Lilly Skeens Tracy.
In addition to her parents, Willa is preceded in death by her siblings: Sondra O’Dell, Linda Cowger, Eppy Sears, Veda Hamrick, Ellen Sturm, and Dink Tracy; nieces: Tammy Clevenger, Lisa Perkins, Mary Jane and Monta Cowger; father and mother-in-law, Junior and Nyoka Davis; brothers-in-law: Gary Cochran, Howard Sturm, Frank Hamrick, and Bill O’Dell; and sister-in-law, Karen Tracy.
Willa attended Cherry Falls Chapel with her husband of 38 years, Curt. She enjoyed listening to music, singing, gardening, canning, cooking, baking, and spending time with all of her family. Willa was an avid reader, especially enjoying reading the Bible. Two of her favorite verses were Psalm 61:2, “From the end of the earth will I cry unto thee, when my heart is overwhelmed: lead me to the rock that is higher than I” and Lamentations 3:22-23, “The LORD’S mercies that we are not consumed, because his compassions fail not. They are new every morning: great is thy faithfulness”, which she lived by.
Along with Curt, Willa is survived by her children: Caleb (Jessi) and Michelle (Marshall); grandchildren: Mia and August; siblings: Sue Cochran, Earl Tracy, Edna (Phillip) Channel, Richard (Denise) Tracy, Becky (Shane) Hamrick, and Molly (Ben) Crites; brothers-in-law: Doyle Cowger and Chester Sears; sisters-in-laws: Drema (Tom) Banta and Tori (Joe) Heubi; and a host of nieces, nephews, church family, and friends.
Willa was a loving mother, grandmother, sister, and friend to many and will be greatly missed.
The family wishes to extend a special thanks to Amy and Kanawha Hospice for the wonderful care provided. Amy is our family’s nurse.
Friends may join the family for visitation on Saturday, November 29, 2025 from 6:00 to 9:00 PM at Dodd & Reed Funeral Home, Webster Springs. Services to celebrate Willa’s life will be held on Sunday, November 30, 2025 at 2:00 PM at Dodd & Reed Funeral Home with Pastor Phillip Channel, Pastor Tommy Blake, and Pastor Matt Kidd officiating. Interment will follow in McCoy Cemetery, Webster Springs.
