Wilbert Williams, 88 of Hacker Valley passed away on Monday, June 17, 2024 at Braxton Health Care Center. He was born September 2, 1935 in Cowger Hill to the late Charlie and Roxie Cowger Williams.
He retired from the Department of Highways where he was a truck driver and attended Union Valley Union Mission Church. He enjoyed fishing, hunting, mowing the grass, and his honey bees.
In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his brothers and sisters Willie Williams, Ellis Williams, Bertha Campbell, Ocie Coombs, and Della Williams.
Left to cherish his memory are his wife Reva Simmons Williams; children Roy (Kelly) Williams, Rosetta (John) Just, Beverly (Stanley) Jordan, Connie (Mike) Ross, Kevin (Crystal) Williams, and Lorie (Rodney) Anderson; 15 grandchildren; 22 great-grandchildren; and a host of nieces, nephews, and extended family and friends to mourn his passing.
Graveside Services will be held on Saturday, June 22, 2024 at 6:00 PM at Ware Cemetery, Hacker Valley with Pastor John Elbert officiating. Interment will follow.
Friends may join the family for visitation one hour prior to service time, from 5:00 to 6:00 PM at Ware Cemetery.
It is Wilbert’s request that you dress casually; come as if you are going to a family picnic.
