Warder Lee “June” Stout, Jr. age 89 of Grassy Creek passed away on Thursday October 4, 2018 at his home.  June was born May 31, 1929 in Sutton and was the son of the late Warder Lee Stout Sr. and Eliza J. Davis Stout.

June retired from Simon, Saul & Steel and was an avid fisherman, hunter, and trapper and enjoyed gardening and farming. He was a United States Army Veteran serving in the Korean Conflict and was awarded several medals during his service.

June is survived by his sons Toby Lee Stout of Lockport, NY and Steven Ray Stout of Torrington, WY; daughters Marilyn Marie Stout (Lonnie) Hypes of Braselton, GA and Vicky Ann Stout Kenna of Alachua, FL; six grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; sisters Wilda Vargo, Wanda Miller, and Francise Lambert; and several other extended family members and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents; daughter Rosemary Lynn Stout Newton; son Daniel Scott Stout; two grandchildren; and several brothers and sisters.

Friends may join the family for visitation on Monday, October 8, 2018 from 6-9 PM at Dodd & Reed Funeral Home. Graveside Services with Military Honors will be held on Tuesday at 10:00 AM at Fairview Cemetery, Webster Springs.
