Virginia Moore of Bergoo, died Sunday, March 6, 2011 at the age of 87. Virginia was born in Upshur County to the late Johnnie Moore and Hattie Samples Moore.
Virginia lived most of her life in Bergoo; she was a member of the Bergoo Baptist Church. Virginia enjoyed working in her flower gardens, camping and most of all spending time with her nieces and nephews.
Along with her parents, Virginia was preceded into death by her step-mother: Clara Pritt-Moore, three sisters, one brother, and two half brothers. She is survived by her sister: Mary Snyder of Bergoo, WV and two half sisters: Bonnie Jansson of Ridge, NY, and Karen Vandevender of Bergoo, WV.
Services will be held Wednesday, March 9, 2011 at Dodd & Reed Funeral Home in Webster Springs at 11 a.m. with Rev. Cofer "Bud" Cochran officiating.
