Vickie B. Williams

Vickie Williams, 67, of Cowen, passed away on Tuesday, June 25, 2024 at CAMC Memorial Division, Hospice Care. 

Born June 5, 1957 in Richwood, she was the daughter of the late Elmer “Lynn” Williams and Mona (Moore) Williams Cutlip. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her grandparents: Oat and Demi Moore and Allen and Eliza Williams; siblings: Elmer “Fox” Williams, Jr. and Cheri Payne; and her grandson, Amos Perrine. 

Vickie enjoyed quilting and cooking, being very notorious for baking pumpkin rolls and bread. She was the most caring and adoring person, having a heart full of love for animals, children, and the elderly. She also enjoyed being in the outdoors, whether that was camping or just gardening at her home.

Left to cherish her memory is the love of her life, Rodney Sill; daughter, Renee Moodispaw (husband, Dustin); her son, Mark Williams (companion, Tina Perrine); grandchildren: Andrea, Ashley, and Hailey Williams, Richard Perrine, and Drew, Katie, and Lukas Moodispaw; sister, Sue Curtis (husband, Steve); and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends to mourn her passing.

Services to celebrate Vickie’s life will be held 1:00 pm, Friday, July 12, 2024 at Dodd & Reed Funeral Home, Webster Springs, with Pastor Randy Dustin officiating. Burial will follow at West Virginia Memorial Gardens, Calvin. Friends may join the family for visitation one hour prior to the funeral service.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be sent to All Mutts Matter Foundation, PO Box 281, Weston, WV 26452. This is a non-profit organization that Vickie held dear to her heart and was very proud of her daughter for being affiliated with.
