Velda Boothe

Velda "Jean" Boothe 75 of Camden on Gauley, WV passed away at her home on March 14, 2010 suddenly. She was born in Cowen, WV on March 20, 1934 a daughter of the late Pearl Chaffin Sherlin. She was an Office Aid at Beaver Elementary, she enjoyed her family, crocheting, knitting, sewing and cooking. In lieu of flowers donation can be made to Beaver Elementary. Survivors include sons, David and wife Bertha Boothe and Dwayne Boothe all of Camden on Gauley, WV; special brother/son, John and wife Hildie Chaffin of Craigsville, WV; daughters and their husbands, Hilda and Ray Russell of Craigsville, WV; Brenda and Gary Connell of Buckhannon, WV; and Angela Boothe of Nettie, WV; grandchildren, Sundie Casto; Sandie Boley; Nicholas Russell; Justin Russell; Ben Connell; Jessica Connell Grose; Brendi Martin; J.T. Ramsey; Kaitlyn Young; Abby Ramsey; Eric Brown; great-grandchildren, Jack Mitchell; Andrew; Victoria; Timmy; Tyler; Kailee; Ivy; Madison; MacKenzie; and Robert; beloved cousin, Bud Cutright; great-Aunts, Evelyn bowman and Madelyn Cutright. Service will be held Thursday March 18, 2010 at 1:00PM in Adams-Reed Funeral home, Cowen with Pastor Jerry Hayhurst officiating. Burial will follow in Lilly Cemetery near Richwood, WV.
