Trenton N. Cutlip, 71 of Diana passed away on Thursday, May 10, 2012 at Ruby Memorial Hospital after an extended illness. He was born May 29, 1940 in Mud Lick to Arlie Edgell and Bethel Mae Hall Cutlip and a lifelong resident of Webster County. He was a coal miner and construction worker and a member of the Holly River Baptist Church.
Trenton is survived by his wife Margaret J. "Peggy" Cutlip; sons Scott Casteel of Jupiter, FL, Danny Ray Cutlip of Craigsville, Michael Arlie Cutlip of Diana, and Warren Trenton Cutlip of St. Albans; step-daughters Mary E. Stone of Martinsburg and Holly D. Clark of Diana; six grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; brothers Gary Cutlip of Webster Springs, John Cutlip of Diana, Jerry Cutlip of Paden City, and Sam Cutlip of Glenville; sisters Texanna Casto of Trinity, NC, Carol Clevenger of Granby, MO, Lena Lowther of Archdale, NC, Frankie Gillis of Three Rivers, MI, Ruth Brooks of Hundred, and Joan Robinson of Webster Springs. He was preceded in death by his parents and brother Shelby Cutlip.
Friends may join the family for visitation on Sunday, May 13, 2012 from 6:00 to 9:00 PM at Dodd & Reed Funeral Home. Funeral Services to celebrate Trenton's life will be held on Monday, May 14, 2012 at 1:00 PM at Holly River Baptist Church with Rev. Gerald Hall officiating. Interment will follow in Holly River Baptist Church Cemetery.
