Timothy Cogar

Timothy B. Cogar, 28 of Webster Springs, went home to be with the Lord on Wednesday, June 10, 2015. He was born August 17, 1986 in Webster Springs to Ronald Eugene and Lois Ann Cogar and was Christian by faith, attending Union Valley Union Mission Church. He was a coal miner for Carter Roag Coal Mines and enjoyed playing guitar, sports, hunting, fishing, playing video games, and swimming. His greatest joy was spending time with his kids.

Tim is survived by his parents Hagen and Lois Cogar; wife Carla Hull Cogar; children Chad Cogar, Gracie Cogar, and David Mason; sister Chelsea Cogar; paternal grandmother Lela Mae Cogar; father and mother-in-law Lee and Jeanie Hull; sister-in-law Tiffany Hull; nephew Levi Gum; dear friends Mikey Woods, Edgar Hall, A.J. Pugh, and Pat Smith; and special aunt known affectionately by Tim as Uncle Lisa; and several aunts, uncles, cousins, and other friends. He was preceded in death by his paternal grandfather Virgil Cogar; maternal grandparents Rance and Helena Cogar; and best friend Chad Cutlip.

Friends may join the family for visitation on Sunday, June 14, 2015 from 6:00 to 9:00 PM at Dodd & Reed Funeral Home. Funeral Services to celebrate Tim’s life will be held on Monday at 11:00 AM at the Funeral Home with Rev. Curt Davis officiating. Interment will follow in Dave Cogar Cemetery, Sugar Creek.
