Thomas Ralph “Tom” Cochran,77 of Parcoal passed away Friday, October 17, 2025, at Mon General Hospital, Morgantown.

Tom was born May 23, 1948, in Clarksburg and was the son of the late Gail and Rose Jarvis Cochran. Along with his parents he was also preceded in death by his wife, Nada McCourt Cochran; sons, Thomas and Zachari Cochran; brothers, Sam, Jack, Phillip Donald Cochran.

Tom was a Christian by faith; he was a disabled electrician from the coal mines. Tom enjoyed spending time at the camp on Gauley River, family reunions, loved music, hunting, fishing and just being outdoors.  Tom had a strong work ethic, sometimes working 7 days a week to provide for his family.

Surviving are his children; Laura Martin, Thomas Matthew “Matt” Cochran and Brett Marshall Cochran; grandchildren, Sydney, Katie, Liberti, Gracie, Tommy and Heidi; great grandchildren, Hayden, Lydia, Ryker and Jax and also many nieces, nephews and extended family members.

Service will be 2:00 PM, Saturday, October 25, 2025, at Dodd & Reed Funeral Home, Webster Springs with Pastor Paul Rounds officiating. Burial will follow at Big Run Cemetery, Diana. Friends may join the family for visitation two hours prior to the service at the funeral home on Saturday.
