Terry Lee Winland

Terry L. Winland, 80 of Summersville, formerly of Diana, passed away on Thursday, April 3, 2025 at his home.

He was born October 28, 1944 in Mount Vernon, OH to the late Edwin and Ruth Vernon Winland. He worked for almost 30 years in the Lorain Steel Mill in Lorain, OH and was Baptist by faith.

Terry enjoyed working on cars, hunting, and woodworking (in which he was very talented), traveling with his family, and going to family functions. He savored his time with his family and loved them all very much. He will be missed by all of them.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brothers: Dennis Winland and Kenneth Winland.

Left to cherish his memory are his wife of 55 years Evona Cheryl Winland; daughters: Robin (Nelson) Davis, Debra Winland (Edward Davis), and Maria (Ralph) Champion; 15 grandchildren; 20 great-grandchildren; special friend Angel Hart; and many nieces, nephews, and extended family and friends to mourn his passing.

Funeral Services to celebrate Terry’s life will be held on Monday, April 7, 2025 at 2:00 PM at Dodd & Reed Funeral Home, Webster Springs, with Pastor Curt Davis officiating. Friends may join the family for visitation two hours prior to service time, from 12:00 to 2:00 PM, at the Funeral Home.
