Tammy Lynn Steed Hosey, 43 of Webster Springs passed away on Wednesday, April 08, 2015 at Ruby Memorial Hospital after a brief illness. She was born August 10, 1971 in Fairmont to Herman Ray and Geraldine Cogar Steed, Sr. and was a homemaker, enjoying taking caring of her boys. She enjoyed being outside, clipping coupons, participating in sports, and taking pictures.
Tammy is survived by her parents; sons Hoyt and Dalton Hosey; companion Shawn Dempsey; brother Robert (Meredith) Cogar; half-brother Ray (Connie) Steed, Jr.; half-sisters Pamela (Mike) Sblendorio and Gwendolyn (Stanley Jr.) Knight; several nieces and nephews; and many special friends. She was preceded in death by her husband Elbert Scott "Scottie" Hosey, Jr. and brother Martin Steed.
Friends may join the family for visitation on Monday, April 13, 2015 from 6:00 to 9:00 PM at Dodd & Reed Funeral Home. Funeral Services to celebrate Tammy's life will be held on Tuesday at 11:00 AM with Rev. Mark Coffman officiating. Interment will follow in Given Family Cemetery, Upperglade.
