Spurgeon "Slim" Allen died Monday, February 7, 2011 at the age of 83. Spurgeon was born July 28, 1927 in Gilmer County to the late Curtis and Stella (Robinson) Allen.
Services will be held Saturday, February 12, 2011 at 1PM at Dodd & Reed Funeral Home, with Rev. Paul Rounds officiating. Friends may call between the hours of 11am and 1pm. Burial will follow at Crooked Fork Cemetery in Normantown, WV.
