Samuel B. Parsley, 84 of Webster Springs passed away on Wednesday, December 4, 2013 at Webster Nursing & Rehabilitation Center in Cowen. He was born January 21, 1929 in Mingo County to John and Peggy Parsley and was a Machine Operator for General Motors of Brook Park for 44 years. He was a United States Army Veteran and Baptist by faith.
Mr. Parsley is survived by his former wife Pauline Parsley of Elyria, OH; sons Samuel Parsley of Elyria and David Parsley of Florida. He was preceded in death by his parents; daughters Michele and Tracey; brother Jesse Parsley; and sisters Betty Jo Parsley, Virgie Schroder, and Imogene Berry.
Friends may join the family for Graveside Services on Friday, December 6, 2013 at 3:00 PM at Odd Fellows Cemetery in Cowen with Rev. Doy Carpenter officiating.
