Samuel Palmer

Samuel William Palmer, 67 of Webster Springs passed away on Saturday, June 1, 2013 at CAMC General in Charleston.  He was born October 13, 1945 in Rhodell, WV to Smith and Eva Ogas Palmer.  He loved listening to a variety of music and was Baptist by faith.

Sammy is survived by his brothers Tommy Palmer of Las Vegas, NV, Ronald (Sue) Palmer of Stafford, VA, Bob (Mary) Palmer of Columbus, OH, and Larry (Sandy) Palmer of Beckley; sisters Brenda Shatz of Laguna Niguel, CA, Jane (Bob) Brock of Virginia Beach, VA, Cindy (Roger) Bennett of Mt. Lookout, and Drema (Richard) Peters of Coeur d'Alene, ID; fiancAC.e Annie Heck of Cowen; and special caregiver and buddy Robyn Carpenter.  He was preceded in death by his parents and brother Roger Palmer.

Graveside Services will be held on Tuesday, June 4, 2013 at 11:00 AM at Holcomb-Green Cemetery, Lost Run, Erbacon with Rev. Paul Rounds officiating. In lieu of flowers the family requests Memorial Contributions be made to Elk Riverview Terrace Apartments, Attention Robyn or Joy, 1 South Main Street, Webster Springs, WV 26288.
