Rose Young, 83 of Webster Springs passed away on Tuesday, September 02, 2014 at her home. She was born March 20, 1931 in Diana to Herbert Tracy and Blanche McCourt. She was a lifelong resident of Webster County and enjoyed sewing, gardening, flowers, and working in the yard.
Rose is survived by her sisters Mona Hall, Georgie Miller, Lenora Baughman, Dorothy Davis, and Judy Tanner and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband Roy Young; and brothers Denver Miller and Odie McCourt.
Friends may join the family for visitation on Monday, September 8, 2014 from 6:00 to 9:00 PM at Dodd & Reed Funeral Home. Funeral Services to celebrate Rose's life will be held on Tuesday at 2:00 PM at the Funeral Home with Rev. Sam Nichols officiating. Interment will follow in Hines-Clifton Cemetery, Diana.
