Rosalie McIe, 77 of Cowen passed away on Sunday, February 3, 2013 at Webster County Continuous Care Center. She was born June 29, 1935 in Desert Fork to Hansford and Edna Ware McCartney and was a lifelong resident of Webster County. She was a homemaker, enjoyed singing and playing guitar, and was Pentecostal by faith.
Rosalie is survived by her son Larry Ray McCartney of Diana; sisters Mildred Pearl Hamrick and Opal Irene McCartney both of Webster Springs; grandson Michael Lee McCartney; and great-grandchildren Damian Lee McCartney, Kaeleigh Jo McCartney, and Devon Cordell McCartney. She was preceded in death by her parents.
Friends may join the family for visitation on Wednesday, February 6, 2013 from 11:00 to 1:00 with Funeral Services at 1:00 PM at Dodd & Reed Funeral Home. Interment will follow in Odd Fellows Cemetery, Diana.
