Ronnie Cobern Davis, 59 of Webster Springs, WV passed away on Wednesday, November 23, 2011 at St. Francis Hospital in Charleston after an extended illness. He was born May 26, 1952 in Fairview to Macel Davis Clevenger and was a Residential Specialist for Seneca Mental Health. Ronnie was a lifelong resident of Webster County, a member of AARP, former member of Diana Volunteer Fire Department, and enjoyed fishing.
Ronnie will be missed by his family including his ex-wife Aretta Faye McCartney Davis; sons Edward (Debra) Davis and Sampson Davis both of Diana; sisters Nancy (Charles) Stout of Diana, Shelby Jean Mesko of Ashtabula, OH, and Sharon (Eddie) Nestick of Villa Rica, GA; brother-in-law Harold Linger; brother David Quinn of Webster Springs; and 11 grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his mother and step-father Carvel Clevenger; brother Bobbie Davis; and sisters Darlie Gay Quinn and Shirley May Linger.
Friends may join the family for visitation on Monday, November 28, 2011 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at Dodd & Reed Funeral Home. Funeral Services will be held at 12:00 PM at the Funeral Home with Rev. Larry Cochran officiating. Interment will follow in Fairview Cemetery.
