Roger Short

Roger Wayne Short 52 of Craigsville passed away February 18, 2010 in Summersville after a brief illness. He was born in Lockport, NY on June 15, 1957 a son of the late Joseph and Loretta Catherine Donelson Short. Also preceding him in death were two brothers, Ronald and Thomas Jackson Short. Roger enjoyed fishing, playing his guitar, and working on cars. Survivors include daughters, Amber Alvis of Gibsonville, NC; Amy Bonds of Malden MO; and Christine Crawford of Wilkes County, NC; brothers, Rowland Short of TN; Roy Short of Princeton, WV; Ray Short of Craigsville, WV; sisters, Linda Lynn of Craigsville; and Adora Short of Rockford, IL; 9- grandchildren. Service were held Thursday February 25, 2010 at 3:00 PM in Adams-Reed Funeral Home, Cowen with Rev. Keith Williams officiating.
