Robyn Sue Hamrick

Robyn Sue Hamrick, 68 of Webster Springs, passed away on Wednesday, July 23, 2025 at Webster County Memorial Hospital with her family around her.

She was born August 23, 1956 in Webster Springs to William Bradley Barbe and the late Doris June Townsend Barbe.

Robyn loved the Lord was a loyal and dedicated servant of the Lord. She attended Elk Valley Chapel where she taught Children’s Church. She was a positive person and was the light of her family. She loved feeding people and spending time with her family.

She was a Registered Nurse for the last 34 years at Webster County Senior Center and was Director for the last three years. She enjoyed going to Amish Country with her Dad and enjoyed gardening, canning, and loved her pets. She was dedicated to her patients that she cared for.

In addition to her mother, she was preceded in death by her brother William Glenn Barbe and sister Judy A. Johnson.

Left to cherish her memory are her father Bradley Barbe; husband Mikel Hamrick; children: Kylie Gilkeson, John (Jana) Gilkeson, Mark (Amber) Gilkeson, Mikel (Brandy) Hamrick II, and Lesly (Larry) Messina; grandchildren: Emma Farley, Gavin Gilkeson, Addison Gilkeson, Alex Gilkeson, Tripp Hamrick, Blair Hamrick, and Sophia Messina; special friends Jayme Cogar and all the girls at Webster County Senior Center; several nieces and nephews; and many extended family and friends to mourn her passing.

Funeral Services to celebrate Robyn’s life will be held on Saturday, July 26, 2025 at 3:00 PM at Dodd & Reed Funeral Home, Webster Springs, with Pastor Doy Carpenter and Pastor Chris Cosner officiating. Interment will follow in Big Run Cemetery, Diana.

Friends may join the family for visitation two hours prior to service time, from 1:00 to 3:00 PM, at Dodd & Reed Funeral Home.
