Robert Hope
February 1, 1944 — July 31, 2017
Robert Edward “Bob” Hope age 73 of Diana went home to be with the Lord after a long battle with cancer. Bob was born February 1, 1944 in Washington, DC and was the son of the late Edward Matthew and Gladys Marie Hill Hope. Also preceding him in death his brother, Edward Matthew Hope Jr and a half brother, Thomas W. Hope
Bob was a loving husband, father and grandfather and will be missed. He was a truck driver and a certified diesel mechanic.
Surviving is his loving wife Darlene Lacey Hope; daughter, Beverly Hope of Georgia; grandchildren, Jacob Hope, Brittany Cornell and Brian Cornell Jr; sister, Alice Pickett and her husband Larry of Flagler Beach, FL; half-sisters, Margaret Brown, Nancy Weber, Trisha Hope, Mary Hope and Elizabeth Hope; half-brothers, George Hope and Andrew Hope; special family members Anthony, Randy and Scott Donahue and their families; and many nieces, nephews and other extended family members.
Service will be 7:00 PM Saturday August t5, 2017 at Dodd & Reed Funeral Home, Webster Springs. Friends may call 5:00 PM until time of the service at the funeral home.
