Robert Fincham

Robert Fincham, 84 of Cowen passed away on May 24, 2012 at Webster Continuous Care Center after an extended illness.  He was born September 15, 1927 in Salem to William "Bill" and Talva Fincham and lived his life in Webster County.  He was a Sawmill Superintendent at Pardee & Curtin for 34 years, a United States Army Veteran serving in Korea, and a Methodist by Faith.  He was a Life Member of the Sportsman's Club and enjoyed hunting and fishing. Robert is survived by his sons Jeffrey K. (Betty) Fincham and Robert D. Fincham; daughter Jayme McIe; brothers Gordon and Edward (Sophia) Fincham; sisters Donna Gibson and Marsha (James) Meadows; four grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.  He was preceded in death by his parents and sisters Brenda Richmond and Helen Bosley. Friends may join the family for visitation on Tuesday, May 29, 2012 from 6:00 to 9:00 PM at Dodd & Reed Funeral Home.  Funeral Services will be held on Wednesday, May 30, 2012 at 11:00 AM with Rev. Sam Nichols officiating.  Interment will follow in Miller Cemetery, Webster Springs.
