Robert Comuzie

Robert Joe “Bobby Joe” Comuzie, 66 of Webster Springs passed away on Monday, November 25, 2019 at his residence. He was born May 27, 1953 in Richwood to the late James Comuzie and Nora Evans Comuzie and was a farmer. Bobby Joe enjoyed fishing, hunting, camping, gardening, and working on small engines. He loved spending time with his grandson and his three children.

He is survived by his wife Cheryl Gilchrist; sons James Allen (Kristina) Comuzie and James Edwards (Tiffany) Comuzie; daughter Rebecca Lynn (Daniel) Comuzie; brother James Truman (Leslie) Mathes; sisters Donna (Alvin) Crites, Peggy (Richard) Brown, Lorain Defelice, and Mary (Bernard) Call; grandson Brentley Miller; and many nieces, nephews, and other extended family and friends. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his step-mother Gracie Comuzie.

Funeral Services to celebrate Bobby Joe’s life will be held on Saturday, November 30, 2019 at 1:00 PM at Dodd & Reed Funeral Home with Pastor Doug Martin officiating. Friends may join the family for visitation one hour prior to Service time.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorial contributions be made to Dodd & Reed Funeral Home, 155 McGraw Avenue, Webster Springs, WV 26288 to assist with final expenses.
