Robert S. "Bob" Clevenger, 78 of Webster Springs went home to be with the Lord on Thursday, August 14, 2014 at Webster County Memorial Hospital. He was born July 06, 1936 in Mudlick to Onie Earl and Maggie Gathel Groves Clevenger and was a lifelong resident of Webster County. He retired from the West Virginia Department of Transportation after many years as a truck driver and was Christian by faith, attending the Jumbo Community Church. Bob enjoyed trading, going to yard sales, and spending time with his family. You would always see Bob sitting in his rocking chair on the front porch waving at the neighbors as they drove up and down the road. He would always be singing a song and would have a smile for everyone he met. He will be missed greatly by his family and friends.
Bob is survived by his wife of 53 years Mildred Berry Clevenger; sons Robert "Bobby" (wife Karen) Clevenger and Jeff (wife Goldia) Clevenger; daughters Linda (husband Cecil) Lake and Cheryl (husband Dan) Cutlip; brothers Dickie (wife Betty) Clevenger, Lloyd B.
