Richard Youst

Richard Paul Youst, 82 of Bergoo passed away on Monday, March 18, 2013 at his residence. He was born August 5, 1930 in Lumberport, WV to Richard Onie and Mary Helen Flowers Youst. Previously of Florida, Richard has lived in Webster County since 1995 and is Methodist by faith. He enjoyed gardening, reading, music, sports, especially the Miami Dolphins, and spending time with his grandchildren. He was a member of the Webster Springs Fire Department.
Richard is survived by his wife Patricia "Pat" "JJ" Youst; sons James Michael (Robin) Youst of Miami and Mark Allen (Kathleen) Youst of Ft. Lauderdale, FL; daughter Karen Ann (Kevin) Cochran of Strange Creek; eight grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents.
Friends may join the family for visitation on Friday, March 22, 2013 from 10:30 to noon at Dodd & Reed Funeral Home. Funeral Procession will dismiss at noon to Sugar Creek Cemetery in Gassaway where Graveside Services will be held with Rev. Sam Nichols officiating.
