Randy Groves

Randall J. “Randy” Groves, 59 of Webster Springs went home to be with the Lord on Friday, May 22, 2015. He was born April 29, 1956 in Webster Springs to Tamlin and Ella V. Bankhead Groves and was a Crew Leader for Eugene Cogar Logging. He was a Christian and attended New Hope Church in Diana. He enjoyed the outdoors, hunting, fishing, camping, and going to church. His favorite thing in life was spending time with his family; his girls were his life.

He is survived by his wife Roseanna Goff Groves of Webster Springs; daughters Veronica (Shannon) Yeager and Crystal (A.J. Hinkle) Goff; step-daughter Taneka Dillon; sister Kathy (David) Cogar and Sue Ruley; brother Press (Patricia) Groves; father and mother-in-law Odie and Annabelle Armentrout; granddaughter Bella Carpenter; and several nieces and nephews.  He was preceded in death by his parents and brother Samuel Groves.

Friends may join the family for visitation on Thursday, May 28, 2015 from 11:00 to 12:00 PM at Dodd & Reed Funeral Home. Celebration of Life Services will be held at 12:00 noon with Rev. Curt Davis officiating.

The family requests in lieu of flowers, memorial contributions be made to Dodd & Reed Funeral Home, 155 McGraw Avenue, Webster Springs, WV 26288 to assist the family with arrangements.
