Patricia N. Youst, 81 of Webster Springs passed away on Friday, May 2, 2014 at Webster County Memorial Hospital. She was born January 10, 1933 in Centralia to William Watson and Nettie Bell Boggs Nutter. She held various clerical jobs including working for Carol Hamrick sewing hunting clothes. A prior resident of Florida and Tennessee, Patricia and her late husband returned to Webster County to enjoy the outdoors. She was always busy at home taking care of her home and keeping it at its best. She enjoyed spending time with her family, cooking, and baking. She was known for her delicious pies.
Patricia is survived by her sons James Michael (wife Robin) Youst of Miami, FL and Mark Allen (with Kathleen) Youst of Ft. Lauderdale, FL; daughter Karen Ann (husband Kevin) Cochran of Strange Creek; sisters-in-law Maxine Nutter and Betty Cutlip; grandchildren Lee-Ann (husband Robert) Randolph, Ricky (Kathy) Youst, Jennifer Youst, Jodi Youst, Katie (Justin) Wasko, Kevin Youst, Christopher Johnson, and Seth Hampton; and eight great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband Richard P. Youst; sister Lillian Freeland; and brothers Henry Lee Nutter, Jim Bob Nutter, Jack Nutter, and Junior Nutter.
Friends may join the family for visitation on Monday, May 5, 2014 from 11:00 to 1:00 at Dodd & Reed Funeral Home. Funeral Procession will dismiss at 1:00 to Sugar Creek Cemetery in Gassaway where Graveside Services will be held with Rev. Sam Nichols officiating. In lieu of flowers, Memorial Contributions may be made to Webster County Memorial Hospital Employee Activities Committee, 342 Miller Mountain Drive, Webster Springs, WV 26288.
