Patricia Cogar

Patricia Ann Cogar 71 of Sugar Creek Rd., Webster Springs, WV went to be with the Lord, Oct. 31, 2012.  She was born April 27, 1941, in Sugar Creek to the late Woodrow and Frances Auxier Cogar.  She had lived in Webster County all her life and attended the Jumbo Community Church.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Jack Cogar, whom she married Sept. 7, 1957, and a grandson. She was a Christian, a loving mother, grandmother, and friend to all she met.  She loved spending time with her family.  She  loved the Mountaineers, Braves and Cowboys and we can't forget her dog and cats.

She is survived by two sons:  Marvin (Gladys) Cogar of Jumbo, WV, and Steve Cogar of Desert Fork, WV, two daughters:  Elizabeth Jane (Bill) Lengacher of Medina, OH, and Anita J. Cogar and Jason Hiley of Harrisville, WV, two sisters:  Pricilla (Skip) Fisher of Pasadena, MD, and Paulette (Mike) Stout of Sugar Creek, WV, grandsons:  John Lengacher  and Shawn Cogar, granddaughters:  Brandy Lengacher, Morgan Moore, Hailee Moore and Jacklyn Seagrave, 4 step grandchildren and 5 step great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.

Services will be held at 10:30 a.m., Monday, Nov. 5, 2012, Dodd & Reed Funeral Home, Webster Springs, WV, with Rev. Sam Gray & Rev. Chris Cosner officiating.  Burial will follow in the Dave Cogar Cemetery, Webster Springs, WV.   Friends may call on Sunday, Nov. 4, from 5-8 p.m. at the funeral home.
