Nyoka Virginia Davis, 70 of Webster Springs, went to meet Jesus early Sunday morning, September 22, 2013 at her home with her family by her side. She was born January 22, 1943 in Laurel Fork to Ova "Red" and Thela Anis McCoy Cogar and was a lifelong resident of Webster County.  She was a Teacher's Aide for Webster County Board of Education for 18 years and a homemaker. She enjoyed her family and friends and attended Upper Holly Union Mission Church.

Nyoka is survived by her husband Charles Jr. Davis; son Curt B. (wife Willa) Davis of Webster Springs; daughters Drema K. (companion Tom) Davis of Shelbyville, KY and Tori (husband Joe) Heubi of Philippi; sisters Martha "Peggy" (husband Matt) Gregory of Webster Springs and Patty (husband Lester) Cogar of Webster Springs; grandchildren Emily (husband Russ) Leonardi, Caleb (wife Jessi) Davis, Michelle Davis, and Bailey, Cheyenne, and Sandra Kay Heubi; great-grandson Jarrod "JJ" Bukszar; best friend Patty (husband Junior) Green; several nieces and nephews; and many friends.  She was preceded in death by her parents and sisters Aina Lee Hull and Kathleen Cogar.

Friends may join the family for visitation on Tuesday, September 24, 2013 from 6:00 to 9:00 PM at Dodd & Reed Funeral Home. Funeral Services to celebrate Nyoka's life will be held on Wednesday at 1:00 PM at the Funeral Home with Rev. Phillip Channell officiating. Interment will follow in McCoy Cemetery, Webster Springs.
