Nola Woods

Nola Gray Gum Woods age 84 of Akron, OH passed away December 22, 2018 at home.  Nola was born June 15, 1934 in Hacker Valley and was the daughter of the late Guy Roosevelt and Thelma Carpenter Gum.  Along with her parents she was also preceded in death by her husband Edward R. Woods, a daughter Towana Flowers and several brothers and sisters.

Nola is survived by her daughters; Marcheta Fox and her husband Bill, Vickie Woods, Denise Heller and her husband Steve, sons;  Danny Woods his wife Mary and Ned Gum and his wife Linda; 16 grandchildren and 16 great grandchildren.

Service will be 1:00 PM Friday, December 28, 2018 at Dodd & Reed Funeral Home, Webster Springs with Pastor Chris Cosner officiating.  Burial will follow at Hacker Valley Cemetery.  Friends may join the family for visitation two hours prior to the service at the funeral home.
