Nellie Lynch

Nellie G. Lynch, 86 of Webster Springs passed away on Wednesday, August 26, 2015 at Eldercare Health & Rehab in Ripley. She was born December 30, 1928 in Bolair to Silas Cleveland and Ollie Jane Carpenter Lynch and was a lifelong resident of Webster County. She attended Cherry Falls Chapel, was a good cook, and enjoyed spending time with her family. She always wanted to take care of her family.

Nellie is survived by her children Jimmie Ray (wife Jane) Cogar, Keith Steven Goff, and Lisa Darlene Goff; brother Charles Edward Lynch; sisters Ruby Dale Brooks, Blanche Rose, Oma Clutter, Dora Lee Clutter, and Betty Jo Pugh; grandchildren Brent Lee Cogar and Mark Brandon Goff; great-grandchildren Jeremiah Mark Goff, Delani Faith Goff, and Colton Lee Goff; special friends Debbie Cool and Judy & Roy Tenney; and many other extended family and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents; grandson Jeremy Ray Cogar; and sister Arzana Gregory.

Friends may join the family for visitation on Saturday, August 29, 2015 from 11:00 to 1:00 PM at Dodd & Reed Funeral Home. Funeral Services to celebrate Nellie’s life will be held at 1:00 PM at the Funeral Home with Rev. Sam Nichols officiating. Interment will follow in Mt. Zion Cemetery, Grassy Creek Road, Webster Springs. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to Kanawha Hospice Care, 1001 Kanawha Blvd., E., Charleston, WV 25301.
