Molissa May Green

Molissa May Baughman Green, 89 of Webster Springs, passed away on Monday, November 25, 2024 at Webster Healthcare Center.

She was born October 28, 1935 in Bolair to the late Miletis and Rosa Cogar Baughman. She enjoyed canning, sewing and doing anything around the house. She loved visiting with her family and loved her children. Molissa was a member of the Apostolic Pentecostal Church of Cowen.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Lantie Brant Green; two grandchildren; one great-grandson; daughter-in-law Sandy Green; four sisters; and one brother.

Left to cherish her memory are her children: Rosemary (companion Jerry) McIe, Frances I. (Rick) Sharp, Leroy (Sylvia) Green, and Leon (Robin) Green; sister Beulah (Darrell) Hamrick; nine grandchildren; 21 great-grandchildren; and several extended family and friends to mourn her passing.

Friends may join the family for visitation on Friday, November 29, 2024 from 6:00 to 9:00 PM at Dodd & Reed Funeral Home. Funeral Services to celebrate Molissa’s life will be held on Saturday, November 30, 2024 at 11:00 AM at Dodd & Reed Funeral Home, Webster Springs, with Chaplain Jim Dyer officiating.

Interment will follow in Joe McCourt Cemetery, Webster Springs.
