Melvin Anderson

Melvin Bennie Anderson, 73 of Webster Springs passed away on Thursday, October 18, 2018 at Webster Nursing & Rehabilitation Center. He was born March 11, 1945 in Pennsylvania and was a coal miner before becoming disabled. He enjoyed fishing, hunting, and watching wrestling.

Melvin is survived by his children Bennie Lee Anderson of Webster Springs, James Anderson of Ohio, Michael Anderson of Webster Springs, and Rebecca Skidmore of Craigsville; brother Ricky Baughman of Clarksburg; sister Cathy Baughman; 7 grandchildren; 2 great-grandchildren; companion and caretaker Julie Cool; and numerous other extended family and friends. He was preceded in death by his brother Del Baughman.

Friends may join the family for visitation on Sunday, October 21, 2018 from 1:00 to 3:00 PM at Dodd & Reed Funeral Home.
