Mary Ann Kavanagh, 65 of Webster Springs, WV died on July 17, 2011 in Ruby Memorial Hospital in Morgantown. She was born December 21, 1945 in Bay City, Michigan to Roy F. and Helen M. Bergen Steinbauer and was a retired School Administrator for the Webster County Board of Education. She was a member of St. Anne's Catholic Church and Catholic Ladies Guild, was involved with Catholic Charities and Parish Council, and enjoyed sailing, reading, gardening, traveling, and the beach. Mary Ann is survived by her mother-in-law Alicia F. Kavanagh of Parkersburg; dear pet Mr. Magoo; brothers and sisters-in-laws Bridget & Zane Parks, Dan & Regena Kavanagh, Alicia & Gary Bursae, Dudley Kavanagh, Sheila & Greg Smith, John & Judy Kavanagh, Patricia & Tom Rainwater, and Sarah & Jon Webb; nieces and nephews Moirasheen & Tim Woodward, Meghan & Ed Petryk, Gretchen Benz, Jay & Natalie Kavanagh, Jackson & Carol Kavanagh, Ben & Cathy Bursae, Shane & Nicki Bursae, Alex Bursae, Melissa Sines, Tiana & Cabba Secka, John Kavanagh Jr., Danny Rainwater, Chris & Mari Rainwater, Thom Rainwater, Cassie & Lyle Shultz, and Joe Webb; and great nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband William "Willy" Kavanagh Sr.; son William Patrick Kavanagh Jr.; parents; father-in-law Joseph D. Kavanagh; uncles Edward (Thelma), Jack (Ginny) and Bob Bergen; aunt Peggy (Jim) Kelly; seventeen Bergen/Kelly first cousins; uncle Arthur Steinbauer; and her beloved pet Sadie. Memorial Services will be held on Saturday, July 23, 2011 at 10:00 AM at St. Anne's Catholic Church in Webster Springs with Rev. Dominic Baok officiating. Inurnment will be in Miller Cemetery, Webster Springs. Family Services provided by Dodd & Reed Funeral Home.
