Marie Helen O'Donnell, 82 of Webster Springs passed away on Thursday, October 16, 2014 at her residence. She was born October 30, 1931 in Webster County to Arden Arnett and Dortha M. Cogar Hamrick and was formerly the Manager of the Goodwill Store; was a Factory and Restaurant worker, and was an Inspector for Maryland Cup. She loved cooking and her family.
Marie is survived by her adopted daughter Dortha M. O'Donnell; brothers Arnett Hamrick of Westminster, MD and Mike Hamrick of Crimora, VA; sister Wanda Lou Mattes of San Antonio, TX; and grandchildren Sara Hamrick and Sierra Hamrick. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband Robert Dale O'Donnell; eight brothers; and one sister.
Friends may join the family for visitation on Sunday, October 19, 2014 from 6:00 to 9:00 PM at Dodd & Reed Funeral Home. Funeral Services to celebrate Marie's life will be held on Monday at 2:00 PM at the Funeral Home with Rev. Curt Davis officiating. Interment will follow in Cool Family Cemetery, Webster Springs.
