Margaret Lynch

Margaret Lucille Pete Donahue Lynch, 80, of Craigsville passed away June 29, 2016 at her residence.  She was born September 12, 1935 in Camden-on-Gauley and was the daughter of the late Hansen Leroy and Madeline Hebb Pete.  Along with her parents she is preceded in death by her husband of 38 years, Alex Donahue; two sons, Timothy “Tim” Donahue and Richard “Rick” Donahue; daughter, Vickie Donahue Sloan; two sisters, Arlene Sanders and Mary Potts; an infant brother John Cambell; and an infant granddaughter Jillian.

Margaret was a lifelong Christian and was of the Pentecostal faith.  She enjoyed reading her Bible, collecting dolls and loved to sing to her grandchildren.  She was a wonderful mother and will be sorely missed.

Surviving are her husband Marshall Lynch; son, David Donahue; daughter Belinda Donahue, both of Craigsville; 8 grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; and a host of other relatives and friends to mourn her passing.

Services will be held at noon on Tuesday, July 5, 2016 at Adams-Reed Funeral Home, Cowen with Pastors Jim and Sharon Hypes officiating.  Burial will follow at West Virginia Memorial Gardens, Calvin.  Friends may call one hour prior to the service Tuesday at the funeral home.

In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to Adams-Reed Funeral Home to assist the family with funeral expenses.
