Marcella Hall

Marcella Anne “Marci” Gritt Hall, 79 of Charles Town, passed away on Thursday, July 27, 2017 at her home. She was born June 23, 1938 in Buffalo, WV to Nidre Lay “Doc” and Hester Frances Lunsford Gritt. Formerly of Bristow, she was a homemaker and a wonderful mother of four children.
Marci is survived by her sons Roger Lee (wife Bonnie) Hall, Walter Hall, and Mark Hall; brothers Frank (wife Charlotte) Gritt of Poca, Don Ray (wife Brenda) Gritt of Leon, Marty (wife Joan) Gritt of Red House, Jimmy (wife Kim) Cunningham of Cross Lanes; sisters Imogene Hunter of Columbus, OH, Marie Beller of Buffalo, and Lea Ann (husband Steve) Blackshire of Buffalo; and grandsons Roger and Nicholas Hall. She was preceded in death by her parents and daughter Debra Anne Hall.
Friends may join the family for visitation on Saturday, July 29, 2017 from 6:00 to 9:00 PM at Dodd & Reed Funeral Home. Funeral Services to celebrate Marci’s life will be held on Sunday at 2:00 PM at the Funeral Home with Rev. Brandon Moll officiating. Interment will follow in Hall Family Cemetery, Guardian.
