Lyndon Allman

SFC (Ret) Lyndon Duane Allman, 64 of Weirton passed peacefully at home in his comfy chair on Monday, March 16, 2020. He was born June 03, 1955 in Buckhannon to the late Dwight A. and Mary Ann Frazee Allman and was a United States Army Veteran, serving 21 years in the US Army.

He enjoyed drag racing, hunting, NASCAR, and spending time with his family. He looked forward to driving the VFW Float in the Woodchoppers parade every year and would spend hours cleaning his truck beforehand. He was an active member of the VFW for many years and held several offices.

Lyndon is survived by his wife Carolyn Lowther Allman; daughters Carla (Bub) Simmons and Sabrina Allman Riter and companion Rick Yoho; grandchildren Mason, Cole, Kalyn, and Preston; sister Sharon Allman Stewart; nephews Joey (Ashley) Stewart and John (Misty) Stewart; aunt Vivian Hamilton Frazee; and many other extended family and friends who will mourn his passing.

Memorial Services will be held at a later date.
