Loretta C. Davis, 73 of Webster Springs passed away on Tuesday, March 6, 2012 at United Hospital Center in Clarksburg after an extended illness. She was born January 21, 1939 in Diana to Francis E. and Alta E. Ware McIe and was a homemaker. She lived her life in Webster County and was Protestant by Faith.
Loretta is survived by her sons Leroy E. (Dorsey) Saville of Ocala, FL, Larry E. (Peggy) Saville of Ocala, FL, Lanny D. (Brenda) McIe of Diana, Rodney W. Davis of Webster Springs, and Randy L. (Vicki) McIe of Akron, OH; son at heart Davy (Beth) Dilley of Staunton, VA; daughters Carol (Ralph) Bankhead of Grassy Creek and Penny (Barry) King of Strasburg, VA; brothers Delmas (Carrie) McIe of NY and Dallas (Brenda) McIe of Dundalk, MD; sisters Imogene (Howard) Stout of Diana, Vera Bennett of Webster Springs, and Vern Flare of Grassy Creek; 13 grandchildren; and 36 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband Hobart D. Davis and her parents.
Friends may join the family for visitation on Friday, March 9, 2012 from 6:00 to 9:00 PM at Dodd & Reed Funeral Home. Funeral Services will be held on Saturday at 10:00 AM at the Funeral Home with Rev. Doug Martin officiating. Interment will follow in Miller Cemetery, Webster Springs.
