Lois Ann Cogar

Lois Ann Cogar, 59, of Webster Springs went home to be with the Lord on Sunday, October 19, 2025.

She was born on February 2, 1966 at Webster County Memorial Hospital to William Rance Cogar and Helena Dell Clevenger Cogar.

She worked at Diana Grocery Store and Family Dollar for many years. She loved Jesus and spending time with those she loved and who loved her. She loved her doggies and sitting on the front porch. She was a wonderful person, and had a smile and laugh that would light up a room.

Lois is survived by her daughter, Chelsea Beth Cogar (fiancé, Mike Moore); brothers: William Eric Cogar (wife, Jennifer), and David Rance Cogar (wife, Tracey); sister, Lisa Diane Williams (husband, Hank); grandchildren: Timothy Shane McCourt, Chad Michael Cogar, and Ava Grace Cogar; several other family members and friends.

She was preceded in death by her son, Timothy Brandon Cogar; parents: Rance and Helena Cogar; paternal grandparents: John and Edna Cogar; and maternal grandparents: Onie and Gathel Clevenger.

In keeping with Lois’ wishes, she will be cremated and no services will take place at this time.
