Lindell Tracy

Lindell Darrell “Dink” Tracy, 66 of Webster Springs went home to be with the Lord and join his family in Heaven on Saturday, April 09, 2016. He was born December 30, 1949 in Webster Springs to Earl Thornton and Lillian Marine Skeens Tracy and was a lifelong resident of Webster County.

Dink enjoyed listening to music, spending time with his family, and going to church. He was a Christian by faith and a member of the Union Valley Church. He was a witness for God and would tell everyone to “Keep praying, keep looking up, and Lord’s Will we will go up.”

Dink is survived by his brothers Earl Tracy and Richard (Denise) Tracy; sisters Sue Cochran, Linda (Doyle) Cowger, Eppy (Chester) Sears, Edna (Phillip) Channell, Veda (Frank) Hamrick, Ellen Sturm, Becky (Shane) Hamrick, Willa (Curt) Davis, and Molly (Ben) Crites; aunt Goldie (Gerry) Moffatt; uncle Golden (Norma) Skeens; special girls Michelle and Miranda; niece and special caregiver Jesse; numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins; and many friends. He was preceded in death by his parents; sister Sondra O’Dell; brothers-in-law Gary Cochran, Bill O’Dell, and Howard Sturm; sister-in-law Karen Tracy; and nieces Lisa Perkins, Tammy Clevenger, Mary Jane Cowger and Monta Cowger.

Friends may join the family for visitation on Tuesday, April 12, 2016 from 6:00 to 9:00 PM at Dodd & Reed Funeral Home. Funeral Services to celebrate Dink’s life will be held on Wednesday at 11:00 AM at the Funeral Home with Rev. Kenneth Pritt and Rev. Dwayne Green officiating. Interment will follow in Harrison Cochran Cemetery, Webster Springs.
