Linda Roberts

Linda Sue (Anderson) Roberts, 69, of Mt. Lookout passed away on Saturday, October 21, 2017 at Summersville Regional Medical Center in Summersville.

Born September 26, 1948 in Buckhannon, she was the daughter of the late Delmer Curtis and Serina Laura (Vanpelt) Anderson. Linda was a homemaker and a Christian by faith. She enjoyed spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren. She loved music, animals, her trips to the beach, and liked for everyone to be happy and get along with each other.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her son, Mark Steven Roberts and her sisters, Sheila Grace Anderson and Carol Imogene Gilbert.

Left to cherish her memory are her sons, Rodney Roberts  (wife, Kimberly) of Mt. Lookout, Scott Roberts of Charleston, Tony Roberts of Mt. Lookout, Chris Roberts (wife, Amanda) of Oak Hill; daughters, Pam Smith of Weirton, and Tina Foster (husband, Rodney) of Kesslers Cross Lanes; grandchildren, Nicole Smith, Stephen Smith, Darian Roberts, Madison Roberts, Justin Foster, Brandon Foster, and Bella Roberts ; great-grandchildren, Serina Smith, Maleeah Smith, Emma Foster, and Liam Foster; and a host of other relatives and friends to mourn her passing.

Services to celebrate Linda’s life will be held at 11:00 AM on Friday, October 27, 2017 at Dodd & Reed Funeral Home, Webster Springs, with Rev. Calvin McCutcheon officiating. Burial will follow in Alexander Anderson Cemetery, Replete.

Friends may join the family for visitation on Thursday from 6:00 to 9:00 PM at the funeral home.
