Lenore Stout

Lenore’s family would like to let you know that her work here on earth is done. Lenore passed with peace and grace on Sunday, October 15, 2017 at her home in Lodi, Ohio with her family by her side. She was born September 06, 1925 in Kovan (Grassy Creek), to Albert and Lovie Miller and was a homemaker. She was a devoted and loving mother and grandmother. She loved family get-togethers and even surprise visits from family and friends. You could always find a home cooked meal, as her kitchen was always open. When she wasn’t cooking, you could find her with a puzzle book in her hands or her newest sewing project. She enjoyed making quilts for her family as well as the Senior Center and Vets. Most of all she enjoyed fishing with her family.

Lenore is survived by her four sons Dannie (Doris) Stout of Seville, OH, Bill (Shirley) Stout, Johnny (Teresa) Stout, and Les (Connie) Stout, all of Sullivan, OH; two daughters Pauline Moats of Lodi, OH and Susan (Arden) Wilkins of Webster Springs; and one brother Jessie Miller of Colorado. Lenore was blessed with 14 grandchildren; 25 great-grandchildren; and three great-great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband Floyd Carl Stout; daughter Patricia Stout; sisters Nannie Skeens and Beulah Grose; and brothers Joseph, Johnnie, and Jennings Miller.

Friends may join the family for visitation on Thursday, October 19, 2017 from 6:00 to 9:00 PM at Dodd & Reed Funeral Home. Funeral Services to celebrate Lenore’s life will be held on Friday at 11:00 AM at the Funeral Home with Rev. Eddie Bender officiating. Interment will follow in Fairview Cemetery, Webster Springs.
