Larry Gene Dodson

Larry Gene Dodson, 80, of Webster Springs, passed away on Saturday, May 16, 2026 at Ruby Memorial Hospital in Morgantown.

Larry was born in Webster Springs on September 8, 1945, a son of the late Beecher and Blanche Dodson.

Larry was an electrical lineman 1st class for 40 years. He loved to hunt and fish and spend time with his granddaughters, Olivia and Haley Dodson, as well as his wife, Helen.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by three sisters: Mary Helen, Anna Mae, and Charlotte; his brother, Clyde; one son, Larry; two nephews, Tim and Justin.

Forever cherishing their memories of Larry are his wife of 30 years, Helen Dodson; son, Travis Dodson (companion, Ann Meadows); daughter, Teresa (Eddie) Green; granddaughters: Olivia, Haley, and an additional granddaughter; three additional grandsons; one stepdaughter; one stepson; nieces: Kim, Charlene, Ginger, Marie; 7 great-grandchildren; and a host of other relatives and friends.

Services to celebrate Larry’s life will be held at a later date.
