Karen Ann Tracy, 63 of Warren, Ohio went into the arms of Jesus on Friday, March 20, 2015 at her home. She was born June 17, 1951 to Carl Martin and Violet Nicholl Hegel and was a 1969 graduate of Mineral Ridge High School. She was a homemaker and was extremely active in the Mineral Ridge Church of Christ, which was a very important part of her life. She sang in the church choir, volunteered for the Vacation Bible School, and started a Sunday School program for the nursery-age children.

Karen is survived by her husband Earl Ray Tracy whom she married on May 10, 1971; children Carl T. (wife Barb) Tracy of London, Ohio, Mari L. (husband Wesley) Gallegos of Estero, Florida, and Earl N. Tracy of Akron, Ohio; stepdaughters Julia (husband Bob) Bloom of Champion, Ohio, Barbara (husband Rick) Darbey of Bazette, Ohio, and Marjorie (husband Frank) Chew of Pacific Junction, Iowa; grandchildren Katie, Christy, Tim, Brian, David, Ricky, Aaron, Imara, and Frank; great-grandchildren Alex, Ethan, Elizabeth, Mason, Logan, Malachi, Christian, Dylan, Carter, and CJ; sister Elaine Macho of Loudon, Tennessee; brothers Gordon Hegel and Martin Hegel, both of Ft. Myers, Florida; brothers-in-law Lindell Tracy and Richard Tracy; sisters-in-law Sue Cochran, Linda Cowger, Eppy Sears, Edna Channell, Veda Hamrick, Ellen Sturm, Becky Hamrick, Willa Davis, and Molly Crites. She was preceded in death by her parents and sister-in-law Sondra Tracy O'Dell.

Friends may join the family for visitation on Tuesday, March 24, 2015 from 6:00 to 9:00 PM at Dodd & Reed Funeral Home. Funeral Services to celebrate Karen's life will be held on Wednesday at 11:00 AM at the Funeral Home. Interment will follow in Harrison Cochran Cemetery.
