John Charles McElwain age 65 of Webster Springs passed away January 28, 2017. John was born December 21, 1951 in Webster Springs and was the son of the late Edith Gregory McElwain. Also preceding him in death was a sister Anita Jarrett.
John was a former Math teacher at Webster County High School and loved watching West Virginia Mountaineer football.
He is survived by his stepson, Daniel Miller; sister, Linda Dobson of Ft. Thomas, KY and special friend, Rae Holdren.
Per Johns request there will be no services at this time.
Interment will be at Gregory Cemetery, Curtin at a later date.
