James "Jim" Stoots, Sr.

James Earl “Jim” Stoots, Sr., 79, of Webster Springs went home to be with the Lord on Wednesday, January 24, 2018 at WVU Hospital – Ruby Memorial. He was born December 13, 1938 in Richlands, VA to the late John and Edna Whitt Stoots.

Jim was a loving husband, father, grandfather, and great-grandfather. He enjoyed helping anyone he could at any time and was Baptist by faith.

Jim is survived by his loving wife Sharon Withrow Stoots; daughter Edna (husband Henry) Kimbrell of Newago, MI; sons James Stoots, Jr. of Webster Springs and John (wife Sarah) Stoots of Greenville, MI; daughter-in-law Susan (husband Frank) LaMountain of Webster Springs; grandchildren Josh Kimbrell, Ashley Kimbrell, Henry Kimbrell, Jr., Luther Stoots, Savana Stoots, and John Stoots, Jr.; and great-grandchildren Josh, Johsa, and Alana. He was preceded in death by his parents and sisters Billie Morrelas and Ellen Lavender.
